Progress and XP
If you have an account, ODGPROD maintains a symbolic progression system (experience points, level, badges) fueled by your actions on the site: account creation, visits, time spent, playlists, plugin downloads, and bug reporting. Each entry is logged (date, reason, amount). This data is used only to display your progress in your account space; it is never dependent on your listening habits and is neither sold nor shared. It is kept as long as your account exists and is deleted along with it, or upon request to the site's contact address.
Listening History and Favorites
If you have an account, you can save tracks to favorites and playlists: these lists are for your private use only and are not public. You can also enable a listening history from your account space: it is disabled by default. Once enabled, the site tracks the tracks you listen to for more than twenty seconds (title, release, date, play count), up to a limit of one hundred tracks, so you can find them again and count the releases you discover toward your progress. This information comes from the site's player, not from SoundCloud counters, and is not used for any advertising or sharing. You can disable, clear, or export your history at any time from your account space; it is deleted along with your account.
